2015 Challenges!!

Image
Hey Everyone! Mandy & Erin here! We're so excited to announce our 2015 Challenges that we will be participating in today!! It's going to be an exciting year, so these will make it even better! For Mandy: So first off, time to decide HOW MANY book I want to read at least by the end of 2015???!!!  Well, let's see...to be honest the only reason I was actually to complete my goal of 50 last year, was because I had reread ALL of the Princess Diaries books, which was like 13 or 14 books in a couple of weeks! So for 2015, because I won't, most likely, be rereading them AGAIN, except maybe #10, for when the new one comes out in June (EEEEE!!!!!!), I have decided to lower that goal a tad this year.  I know, I know, but to be fair, if I feel I am doing very well, I can always raise that goal later! But I know 2015 is going to be another intense, yet exciting year, because I will hopefully be transferring to University this year!!!  I know, it's about time, right? ...

Hey Everyone! Wow, we are sure getting close to that New Year aren't we?  THREE more days left of 2014!! I just can't believe it! And let me just say, I couldn't have chosen a better book to end my 2014 reading time on! Isla and the Happily Ever After , the third and last book in the Anna and the French Kiss Series  by Stephanie Perkins. From Goodreads : Love ignites in the City That Never Sleeps, but can it last?   Hopeless romantic Isla has had a crush on introspective cartoonist Josh since their first year at the School of America in Paris. And after a chance encounter in Manhattan over the summer, romance might be closer than Isla imagined. This is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith

Image
Can I just say I LOVE reading a book I can use for a challenge!! :) From  Goodreads : If fate sent you an email, would you answer? When teenage movie star Graham Larkin accidentally sends small town girl Ellie O'Neill an email about his pet pig, the two seventeen-year-olds strike up a witty and unforgettable correspondence, discussing everything under the sun, except for their names or backgrounds. Then Graham finds out that Ellie's Maine hometown is the perfect location for his latest film, and he decides to take their relationship from online to in-person. But can a star as famous as Graham really start a relationship with an ordinary girl like Ellie? And why does Ellie want to avoid the media's spotlight at all costs? My Thoughts: This is a book all about fate.  Fate of finding that one person you are meant to be with, and finding a way to stay with that person!   I was talking to one of Goodreads friends, who also happened to be reading the book at...

The Boyfriend App by Katie Sise (ARC Review)

Image
Yay!!! Another ARC off of the Review list!! :) And a good one at that! From  Goodreads : In The Boyfriend App by Katie Sise, super-smart, somewhat geeky Audrey McCarthy can’t wait to get out of high school. Her father’s death and the transformation of her one-time BFF, Blake Dawkins, into her worst nightmare have her longing for the new start college will bring. But college takes money. So Audrey decides she has to win the competition for the best app designed by a high schooler—and the $200,000 that comes with it. She develops something she calls the Boyfriend App, and suddenly she’s the talk of the school and getting kissed by the hottest boys around. But can the Boyfriend App bring Audrey true love? My Thoughts: The Boyfriend App  by Katie Sise was a pleasant surprise! It had a classic love story with this unique twist, in that the main character, Audrey, really knew her tech stuff!!  It was interesting, yet at the same time I will admit ...
