Instructions for Dancing by Nicola Yoon

Hello! I hope everyone had a nice weekend! I can't believe it is Monday again and that we are approaching the midway point for 2021 already!  It is seriously blowing my mind how fast time is passing by!   Last night I finished Nicola Yoon latest release Instructions for Dancing ! From Goodreads: Evie Thomas doesn't believe in love anymore.  Especially after the strangest thing occurs one otherwise ordinary afternoon: She witnesses a couple kiss and is overcome with a vision of how their romance began...and how it will end.  After all, even the greatest love stories end with a broken heart, eventually. As Evie tries to understand why this is happening, she finds herself at La Brea Dance Studio, learning to waltz, fox-trot, and tango with a boy named X.  X is everything that Evie is not: adventurous, passionate, daring. His philosophy is to say yes to everything -- including entering a ballroom dance competition with a girl...

Hey Everyone, So I am going to be honest with you, I have not been reading.  I just started my last semester of university, I will graduating this May with my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Studies.  It has been an incredibly long journey, with many hardships, but I'm almost there.  My semester consists of work Monday through Friday, school two nights a week, and three days of student teaching a week to complete my 196 hours needed to graduate.  Week two just ended, and I will admit I'm tired.  So tired that I used a sick day from work today (SHHH...) and took a nap this afternoon.  I know, totally irresponsible, but it's been a rough few months, and it isn't going to get any easier anytime soon.  I just need to keep going, and if that means taking a couple off, on a slower day, then so be it. But anyway, I drive a lot, I commute, and the car rides can get pretty dull.  So I went to the library last weekend, and borrowed a couple of their audio...

Hey Everyone! Sorry it's been a while again, since my last book review.  Unfortunately, life has hit its crazy point again.  Both school and my other job have started again, so I'm working Monday through Saturdays, with late days during the week.  I'm trying to find some time here and there to read, but since homework has been piled on since Day 1, and work is taking up A LOT of my time, the book reviews will be further and further apart again for at least a while. Anyway I've finished Lauren Clark's latest release... Pie Girls !! From Goodreads : Princess, Southern belle, and spoiled-rotten social climber Searcy Roberts swore on a stack of Bibles she’d never return home to Fairhope, Alabama. After marrying her high school sweetheart and moving to Atlanta, Searcy embraces big-city life—Carrie Bradshaw style. But now, Searcy has a teeny, tiny problem. Her husband’s had a mid-life crisis. He’s quit his job, cancelled her credit cards, and left her for anot...
