The Girl Least Likely by Katy Loutzenhiser

Image
Hey! I finally finished an actual novel this month!  It's been a rather odd month.  I'm feeling off at the moment, can't really explain it, but my head has been in the clouds so to say.   But anyway, finished an actual book in July, instead of another graphic novel. The Girl Least Likely by Katy Loutzenhiser was released on June 29th, so a new release! From Goodreads: To All the Boys meets The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (with a dash of Dumplin' ) in this funny, romantic, and heartfelt coming of age story about a teen stand-up comic learning how to be her truest self, from the author of If You're Out There . Gretchen has always been more of a "least likely" than a "most likely" kind of girl. So how does she somehow find herself living out every trope from her favorite rom-coms...? The Best Friend Crush: Why is it suddenly so hard to act normal around her childhood BFF, Samuel? Must be time for a -- Makeover(!): Black leather pants and some red lipstic...

Beautiful Bombshell (#2.5 in Beautiful Bastard Series) by Christina Lauren

Image
Hey Everyone!! So I finished another book, and just in time for me to take a new one with me when I go on my vacation to Disneyland tonight!!! I finished the newest novella addition to the Beautiful Bastard Series by authors Christina and Lauren (yes, there are two awesome women who wrote this series!!), entitled Beautiful Bombshell ! From  Goodreads : The gentlemen from  Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger , and  Beautiful Player  are out for a wild night on The Strip. When Max, Henry, and Will steal Bennett away for a weekend of shenanigans and strippers in Vegas, the first stop of the night doesn’t go at all as planned. With their scheme for a Guys Weekend completely derailed anyway, Max and Bennett begin to play a wild game of stealth and secrecy in order to have their bombshells all over Sin City. My Thoughts: The sexiness continues with this great edition to one of my favorite adult series! Beautiful Bombshell  was overall a cute sexy r...

Hey everyone! So this Part 2 of Why Couldn't These Have Been Books Before Movies?? ( Part 1 is Here ).  I have SOOOO many favorite movies, and even though among them many were based on books when they were made into a movie, quite a few of them were not.  This week features a movie that is on my list of ALL-TIME Favorite Movies!!  But I think I'm going to leave it for last...:) Valentine's Day : Directed by Garry Marshall (the director of The Princess Diaries and Pretty Woman ), featuring an internationally known cast, including Anne Hathaway, Julia Roberts, Hector Elizondo (all actors that have been in past Marshall films), Jennifer Garner, Taylor Lautner, Patrick Dempsey, Ashton Kutcher, and Taylor Swift. Description ( From imdb ): Intertwining couples and singles in Los Angeles break-up and make-up based on the pressures and expectations of Valentine's Day.  My thoughts: I really like Garry Marshall's films.  I thought this one was felt re...
