Hey Everyone!! I've been so behind these!! But this week I've decided to do two of my favorites, which happen to come from one of my favorite movies! :) These songs are from Pitch Perfect! The Sign/Eternal Flame Medley! and... Price Tag/Don't You Forget About Me ! :) The Romance Bookie :)

This is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith

Image
Can I just say I LOVE reading a book I can use for a challenge!! :) From  Goodreads : If fate sent you an email, would you answer? When teenage movie star Graham Larkin accidentally sends small town girl Ellie O'Neill an email about his pet pig, the two seventeen-year-olds strike up a witty and unforgettable correspondence, discussing everything under the sun, except for their names or backgrounds. Then Graham finds out that Ellie's Maine hometown is the perfect location for his latest film, and he decides to take their relationship from online to in-person. But can a star as famous as Graham really start a relationship with an ordinary girl like Ellie? And why does Ellie want to avoid the media's spotlight at all costs? My Thoughts: This is a book all about fate.  Fate of finding that one person you are meant to be with, and finding a way to stay with that person!   I was talking to one of Goodreads friends, who also happened to be reading the book at t

True (#3 in Elixir Trilogy) by Hilary Duff

Image
***WARNING***May contain spoilers, if you haven't read the previous books in series!!!*** Hey!! So two weeks ago, I got an email from Goodreads letting me know that Hilary Duff's new book True  was available NOW!  I started freaking out! I thought I still have time! I didn't know it was being released in April already! I thought next month or June!  But no, it came out on APRIL 16th!!!! And I missed the preorder!! So I ended up getting my copy last week, and as soon I finished the book I was reading at the time, I immediately picked up my copy of True !! The Third and FINAL book in the Elixir Trilogy !! :) I believe I MAY have mentioned this in my reviews for  Elixir  and  Devoted  that I was and am a HUGEEEEEEEE Hilary Duff fan!! I was especially when I was growing up!! I still am a fan, and support everything Hilary Duff does in her career, because she was my role model growing up! She was just so awesome!! Anyway now to review of True ... :) From  Goodread

Crescendo (#2 in Hush, Hush Series) by Becca Fitzpatrick

Image
Yes!! I have had this one sitting on my shelf for over a year now! I read the first in Becca Fitzpatrick's  Hush, Hush  Series back in December of 2011, and I ended up buying the second book Crescendo  almost immediately thereafter.  And believe me, when I say I've been wanting to read this book, since buying it!! However, due to requests, blog tours, and other obligations I either haven't had the time or forgot every time I did have the chance! But now I finally have!! :) And it was awesome! From  Goodreads : Nora Grey's life is still far from perfect. Surviving an attempt on her life wasn't pleasant, but at least she got a guardian angel out of it. A mysterious, magnetic, gorgeous guardian angel. But despite his role in her life, Patch has been acting anything but angelic. He's more elusive than ever (if that's possible) and what's worse, he seems to be spending time with Nora's archenemy, Marcie Millar. Nora would have hardly noticed Sc

The Angel Chronicles: Book 3 Privilege Cover Reveal!

Image
Hey Everyone! Sooo sorry I'm a little late putting this up! Everything is a bit crazy right now...but summer is almost here!!!!!! :) So anyway, here is the cover for the third and final book in  The Angel Chronicles Trilogy: A Privilege ! Wow, LOVE that cover!!! Can't wait to read it, but first I've still got to read book 2! :) Book Description: The beloved Angel/Warrior team face pure evil in their final climactic story! The first time they were sent down, Irish lives were led. Emily, the angel, ended up embedded in murder and lost in the realm of true love. While Matthew, the warrior, took over a life that left blood on his hands and anger in his soul.  With their second coming, Emily found herself facing an oncoming war that brought her to the shores of America. While Matthew tried desperately to unveil the evil character of a young man who was intent on locking his partner in a ‘gilded’ cage.  Now...Emily and Matthew find th

A State of Jane by Meredith Schorr Review

Finally!! Another book off of my review list! I'm so happy to be finally reading these! :) From  Goodreads : Jane Frank is ready to fall in love. It's been a year since her long term relationship ended and far too long since the last time she was kissed. With the LSAT coming up she needs to find a long term boyfriend (or husband) before acing law school and becoming a partner in her father's law firm. There's just one problem: All the guys in New York are flakes. They seemingly drop off the face of the earth with no warning and no explanation. Should she join her best friend Marissa in singlehood, making cupcakes and watching True Blood? Or should she follow her co-worker Andrew's advice and turn the game back on those who scorned her? As Jane attempts to juggle her own responsibilities and put up with the problems of everyone around her, she starts to realize the dating life isn't as easy as she originally thought. My Thoughts: Overall, Meredith

Reflected In You (#2 in Crossfire Trilogy) by Sylvia Day

Image
***WARNING***THIS BOOK CONTAINS GRAPHIC ADULT CONTENT, NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18!!*** From  Goodreads : Gideon Cross. As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn't stay away. I didn't want to. He was my addiction... my every desire... mine. My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful... except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity.  We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession... My Thoughts: Reflected In You is the the second book in the Crossfire Trilogy ! While, I admit I enjoyed this one, because of the dynamic relationship between Gideon and Eva, I will admit that at the same time it got to  be a bi

The Boyfriend App by Katie Sise (ARC Review)

Image
Yay!!! Another ARC off of the Review list!! :) And a good one at that! From  Goodreads : In The Boyfriend App by Katie Sise, super-smart, somewhat geeky Audrey McCarthy can’t wait to get out of high school. Her father’s death and the transformation of her one-time BFF, Blake Dawkins, into her worst nightmare have her longing for the new start college will bring. But college takes money. So Audrey decides she has to win the competition for the best app designed by a high schooler—and the $200,000 that comes with it. She develops something she calls the Boyfriend App, and suddenly she’s the talk of the school and getting kissed by the hottest boys around. But can the Boyfriend App bring Audrey true love? My Thoughts: The Boyfriend App  by Katie Sise was a pleasant surprise! It had a classic love story with this unique twist, in that the main character, Audrey, really knew her tech stuff!!  It was interesting, yet at the same time I will admit I had no idea

Clockwork Princess (#3 in the Infernal Devices Trilogy) by Cassandra Clare

Image
***WARNING!!! MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FROM PREVIOUS BOOKS IN THE INFERNAL DEVICES TRILOGY!!!*** Let me just begin this review by saying I literally just used up half a box of tissues as I read the last 30 or so pages of Clockwork Princess . I'm a very emotional person.  Especially when it comes to the books I'm reading. I can't even tell you how many times I have cried while reading a book...just to name a few... Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince , Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Princess Forever (the 10th Princess Diaries book by Meg Cabot) , The Fault in Our Stars  by John Green, Thirteen Reasons Why  by Jay Asher...the list goes on and on! Let me also say, I fall in love with characters.  Like a deep love!  Like deep deep love!  I find myself pretending that the main character is usually my best friend, and I'm listening to her story, as I'm falling in love with the main male character of the story!  That's how it is! I can't help it! Wel
