For my latest book I read True Love Way by Nancy Strofano.  It's the story of Marlo Spencer, a 29, almost 30, year old woman who gets an email from her high school sweetheart, Josh,  who broke her heart 12 years ago, and wants to see her so they can discuss the Pact.  The Pact?  What is it, you may be asking? Well, it's this thing that Marlo and Josh agreed where they decided they both weren't married by the time they were thirty and still single, that they would marry each other. Let's just say, a lot has changed in 12 years.  Marlo no longer lives in Napa, for one.  Second, she owns her own dance studio now.  And has a cute little apartment all to herself in Malibu.  But that doesn't stop Marlo from wanting to see Josh, the man she hasn't stopped thinking about since that day 12 years ago, when he took off to Paris without a goodbye. Along with her best friend Nik (short for Phoenix), they head out on the road and drive the seven hour...

Published in the 1970s Are you There God? It's Margaret written by Judy Blume, touched the hearts of thousands, if possibly not millions, of young girls hearts. Written in the point of view of a soon-to-be twelve year old girl named Margaret Ann Simons, it deals with a young girls many questions. She is waiting to become a woman.  She wants to start her period, grow a chest, and be "a normal girl".  It's a super short book, only about 150 pages, so it was a super easy read, and I do think this is a perfect read for young girl going through her early stages of adolescence. However, like I said it was published in the 70s, and includes some pretty old school stuff.  For instance, at one point Margaret discusses trying on this belt that holds her pad...yeah, honestly I had no idea what that was?? For me personally, it was a bit tough sometimes just by young Margaret was.  But like I said, this book is meant for girls around the age of 11-14.  Also, I mean...
