The DUFF by Kody Keplinger (ReRead/Re-Reviewing) :)

Image
Hey Everyone!! So this marks the last day of #ReadTheDUFF Read-a-long! I am currently in Florida, enjoying a much needed vacation with my amazing boyfriend at Walt Disney World and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, but I still wanted to share with you guys once again, a book that is very special and close to my heart! So this is the first time I've ever done this, but for the first time ever I, The Romance Bookie, will be RE-Reviewing a book!!!  Wow, I can't believe I'm doing this! But when you feel so passionate about a story, and it's been years and years since you've reviewed it, why not?! Anyway, I reviewed Kody Keplinger's debut novel, The DUFF back in 2011 ( HERE is that review), shortly after it first was released, and it was one of my very very first reviews! No joke! One of the reasons, why I'm Re-Reviewing The DUFF , is because back in 2011, The DUFF did not get a proper review on it's own.  It was put together with a bunch

Beautiful Beloved (Beautiful Bastard #3.6) by Christina Lauren (ARC)

***WARNING*** ADULT CONTENT INVOLVING INAPPROPRIATE SUBJECTS FOR ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18!!!!*** Yay!! Got another book in before I leave tomorrow for my vacation!!! I received Beautiful Beloved in the mail yesterday and knew I just had to devour it instantly, and so that was exactly what I did this morning when I woke at 5:40 am wide awake, too hyped up and ready to go. The Beautiful Bastard  series is hands down my favorite adult series! It's got everything I like to find in a book.  Great characters.  Great stories.  Hysterical humor.  Just so much awesomeness! Christina and Lauren (yes, it is two authors who write this book!) wrote yet another genius novella in this series!  We get to go back into the lives of Sara and Max, the two main characters from Beautiful Stranger ! I read  Beautiful Stranger  (the second in the series) back in mid 2013, which was when readers were first introduced to Sara and Max.  I was so excited to be back reading another one of Christ

Hey Everyone! So the semester has officially started, so I'm back at work and school!  Reading time has unfortunately been cut down again a bit, but it's okay, I'm still attempting to make as much time as possible for reading this year!  Book three for 2015 is done (Review for book #2 is coming soon!)! This time around, I read a book, I've had sitting on my shelf for almost a year, and have been wanting to read since I finished one of this author's novels last year, around this time. Fangirl  by Rainbow Rowell. From Goodreads : From the author of the  New York Times  bestseller  Eleanor & Park . ***WARNING!!! THIS BOOK IS FOR ADULTS!!! 18 and up!!!*** Hey Everyone!! :) First review of 2015!! And it's a good one! Last Call  (#4.5 in the Cocktail Series) by Alice Clayton, one of my favorite authors, due to her amazing humor! From Goodreads : From NEW YORK TIMES & USA TODAY bestselling author Alice Clayton, known for her “deliciously addictive” (The Book Vixen) novels, this Cocktail series novella reunites readers with Caroline and Simon from the wildly successful Wallbanger . Settling in, but never settling down, Caroline has finally struck a balance between the professional and the personal. Perpetual globetrotter Simon has cut his frequent flyer miles in half over the last year, preferring to balance his professional and personal life, as we

2015 Challenges!!

Image
Hey Everyone! Mandy & Erin here! We're so excited to announce our 2015 Challenges that we will be participating in today!! It's going to be an exciting year, so these will make it even better! For Mandy: So first off, time to decide HOW MANY book I want to read at least by the end of 2015???!!!  Well, let's see...to be honest the only reason I was actually to complete my goal of 50 last year, was because I had reread ALL of the Princess Diaries books, which was like 13 or 14 books in a couple of weeks! So for 2015, because I won't, most likely, be rereading them AGAIN, except maybe #10, for when the new one comes out in June (EEEEE!!!!!!), I have decided to lower that goal a tad this year.  I know, I know, but to be fair, if I feel I am doing very well, I can always raise that goal later! But I know 2015 is going to be another intense, yet exciting year, because I will hopefully be transferring to University this year!!!  I know, it's about time, right?
