  Hey Everyone! So I've been watching the new TV show, The Carrie Diaries , on the CW; and since the show takes place in the 80s, in an era that has some of the coolest music, in my opinion; I've decided to dedicate the last two weeks of Music Tuesday's to...80s!!   Girls Just Want to Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper! Cyndi is seriously one of my all time favorite artists! She is just so awesome!! And... Madonna's Material Girl , since Carrie Bradshaw is all about Fashion! :) The Romance Bookie :)

Let's do an oldie today...okay 30 years ago old...so not technically an oldie...but none the less a song I still absolutely love and listen to all the time! I grew up on Cyndi Lauper, and when I had the opportunity to see her live in August of 2010, I jumped on it!  She was amazing, even though she sang all of her songs in Blues form, even her 80s ones, but none the less she sounded amazing live and still had her awesome 80s spunk! Another Tuesday!!! Whoo-hoo!! Have I ever mentioned I LOVE 80s music??  Even though I wasn't even born in the 80s I grew up the music because of my parents, who were teens back then! I LOVE especially the total women powers of the 80s! Cyndi Lauper, Go-Gos, Pat Benatar, Blondie, Heart, Bangles, and...Missing Persons! Okay, so I will admit, I've only this one song by Missing Persons, but lately it's one of the main things I'm listening to! So here is this weeks song! The Romance Bookie :)

I LOVE 80s music! Especially those Girl power groups!! Blondie happens to be one of those Girl Power groups I absolutely love! This song from Blondie, is actually from the 90s, I believe; but none the less it is a great song! I LOVE this song!! The guitar is awesome!! I wish I could play like that! Happy Tuesday everyone!
