Hey Everyone!! Week 6 of Meg-A Readers is over, and I'm here to share with you all the awesomeness of this week! :) We've got some awesome questions already to ask Meg for the Meg-A Readers last recap interview!   Keep asking those questions!! And then we also had the Meg Cabot Read-a-Thon to mark off the halfway point of Meg-A Readers!!  Only 6 more weeks and Meg-A Readers is already over! ;( So anyway, here's what I accomplished in this week's Read-a-Thon: I read: Short Stories by Meg Cabot, which okay, isn't really a title, but it's the series of short stories that Meg released for free last year!  If you want to read them, here is the link:  http://www.megcabot.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/MegCabot-free-stories-dec2012.pdf So for this week's Meg-A Readers post, I'll be doing a review on those short stories! :) The first one: Reunion , which is written in the same format as Meg's Boy Series, aka emails, is super cu...

Fifty Shades Freed by EL James Review (SWUR #4)

Image
This is my fourth and most likely final book in the Summer Wrap-Up Read-a-Thon hosted Jude @In Between & Jen @Some Like It Paranormal . Tomorrow I will be writing a short wrap-up post to recap all I read for this super fun Read-a-Thon! ***WARNING!!!! MATURE CONTENT & MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FROM PREVIOUS NOVELS IN THE SERIES!!!*** For my fourth book I read EL James Fifty Shades Freed (the 3rd, and as far as I know, the final, book in the Fifty Shades Trilogy). For a recap of the first two books in the series, please go Here for Fifty Shades of Grey and Here for Fifty Shades Darker . Here's a great description from Goodreads , that pretty much brings all the books together: When unworldly student Ana Steele first encountered the driven, damaged young entrepreneur Christian Grey, it sparked a sensual affair that changed both their lives irrevocably. Shocked, intrigued, and ultimately repelled by Christian's singular sexual tastes, Ana demanded a d...

#SWUR Cover Love Challenge!

Image
For the second challenge of the day, it's hosted by Emily @Falling for YA , I am supposed to pick my favorite summer cover... So okay, even though there were so many fabulous covers for books released in the last couple of months, I have chosen a cover that I know many people would not consider a summer release, but technically a Spring one.  However, because my summer vacation already started in May, I have decided to choose this one anyway! City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare! Isn't it just gorgeous?! I've sadly not read this one...BUT only because then I have to wait an absurd amount of time for the next one!! I'll admit one thing though...is it just me or does Jace (on the cover), look a little like a muscular Cody Simpson??? Anyway that's my beautiful cover choice! :) The Romance Bookie :)

#SWUR Summer Vacation Challenge!

Understanding Shae's Story is hosting one of today's challenges! It's called Summer Vacation Challenge! I'll be picking my ideal destination that I'd love to live in from a book I've read! Because Shae picked the MOST AWESOME place already, Hogwarts of course!!, I've realized I should probably come up with something of my own... So I've chosen... Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. Why? One word...Etienne.... sigh...***swooning right now*** Okay so I will admit he's not the only reason! Even though it would scare me to live away from my parents, especially during high school, I have always found the idea of boarding school fascinating...PLUS in Paris??!! With a bunch of people who speak English??? AWESOME!!  I think it would be a total blast! As long as I get to live the exact life Anna lives in Anna and the French Kiss of course! ;) The Romance Bookie PS: Check out this awesome free book on Amazon!! Only a f...

The Tales of Beedle the Bard Review (#SWUR #1)

Image
The Summer Wrap-Up Read-a-Thon has OFFICIALLY started!! Jude along with Jen are hosting this fun shin-dig! And even though my summer doesn't end until the 27th of this month, I'm still sad that summer is coming to a close this fast! ;(. In three weeks, it's time for textbook reading, long hours on the computer doing unfun stuff, talking about politics (BLUH! I'm taking Poli-Sci this semester), and learning...okay so the learning thing isn't too bad! But anyway, here's my review for my first #SWUR book! The Tales of Beedle the Bard by JK Rowling has literally been sitting on my bookshelf since its release in 2008! I just haven't the chance to read it, until now! Honestly, that is a terrible excuse, I will admit that; because this book is SO SHORT!! Anyway, so if you haven't heard of this book, which if you're a Harry Potter fan, then I'm sure you have, then let me tell you a bit about it. The Tales of Beedle the Bard was first me...

Hey Everyone! Happy Friday!! :) So I got an email from an a super awesome blogger I've been following (sorry, that sounds so stalkerish)...maybe more like...I've been reading her posts for the past two years. Jude over at In Between Writing and Reading is hosting this awesome Read-a-thon! It's called the Summer Wrap-Up Read-a-Thon! It's going to be held from August 4th until August 12th!  Honestly, I can't remember signing up, but none the less I'm really excited! The only thing is...I have to warn you guys...I SUCK at read-a-thons!! I feel this pressure, and then I end up not being able to concentrate on what I'm reading! It's freaks me out!! However, none the less, I will be trying!! I promise!! Here are my goals for the week: 3 weeks! Okay, so more like 2 and a half, because one of them is super short! Here are the two I'm 100% going to be reading...   Now for that third book I'm not sure yet what I'll be deci...
