With her upcoming nuptials to PI Cooper Cartwright only weeks away, Heather's already stressed. And when a pretty junior turns up dead, Heather's sure things can't get worse—until every student in the dorm where she works is a possible suspect, and Heather's long-lost mother shows up. Heather has no t

Meg-A Readers Recap #12

Image
Hey Everyone!! It's the second to last week of Meg-A Readers!  While, I've been busy reading The Bride Wore Size 12  for next week's finale post, I've also been extremely busy with life, and therefore don't really have anything planned for Meg-A Readers this week, unfortunately.  I know...I've been a failure lately...trust me I've been feeling like it too! Anyway, Diana, my amazing cohost for Meg-A Readers, and the founder of  Little Miss Drama Queen , has come up with a great way to end Meg-A Readers this year!  We're asking for your pictures with Meg Cabot!! So now, we understand not everyone has been given the opportunity to meet Meg, so if that's the case, no problem!  We want your pictures with you and your Meg Cabot collection then!! And if you don't want your picture on the internet, totally cool too!  Just send us a picture of your awesome Meg Cabot book collection!!!! So here are the options once again... Either send us a pictu

Fifty Shames of Earl Grey by Fanny Merkin (Audiobook Review)

Image
Hey Everyone, So it's been a while.  Unfortunately everything is just completely insane in my life.  With a mixture of school and personal problems I've just honestly not had the mind power to read.  However, because I have a 45 minute commute to my school every Monday and Wednesday I was able to listen to another audiobook for the audiobook challenge I'm participating in this year! That audiobook was Fifty Shames of Earl Grey by Fanny Merkin, read by Allyson Ryan. From Goodreads : Young, arrogant tycoon Earl Grey seduces the naïve coed Anna Steal with his overpowering good looks and staggering amounts of money, but will she be able to get past his fifty shames, including shopping at Walmart on Saturdays, bondage with handcuffs, and his love of BDSM (Bards, Dragons, Sorcery, and Magick)? Or will his dark secrets and constant smirking drive her over the edge? My Thoughts: I definitely laughed during this one!  It's a parody after all of Fifty Shades of Gr

Meg-A Readers Recap #10/11 GIVEAWAY!!!

I'm sorry I haven't been around much lately.  A lot has happened in my life.  Like I said, I believe, in my "life is taking over" post, a lot of first this year.  Another one happened yesterday, a not so great one, but I guess it's part of growing up and learning to move on. So anyway, here is 10 and 11th recap of Meg-A Readers, because I totally blanked once again last week on it. Paige over at Comfort Books wrote a review on  Abandon  that everyone should check out! And Cassandra over at Books, Books, and more Books wrote a fabulous post comparing the movie and book of The Princess Diaries. Two really great editions to Meg-A Readers! I also have another giveaway! This was supposed to be up last week, but I blanked, and have unfortunately put the schedule behind further!  But here it is anyway! I'm giving away a hardcover SIGNED set of Meg's Insatiable  and Overbite . US only!!!! a Rafflecopter giveaway Thanks everyone! The Romance

Life is taking over...

Hey Everyone! So I've been trying to find the time to write this post for a while now, but I've just been so extremely busy these past few months! Anyway, now it's time for me to explain! As some of you Romance Bookie readers may have noticed, I haven't been around as much as I used to be.  There are a few reasons for that, some a bit too personal for me to share here, and some just very basic explanations.  The most basic one I can honestly think of, that is 100% true is...I've been SOOOOOO BUSY!! My summer was incredible!  It was truly a very memorable one.  I did a lot.  Spent a lot of time with friends and people who are very special in my life.  I got my drivers license at the beginning of the summer, so was able to experience some great things, like driving!  And I worked! Now that summer is over, however, things don't look they will be changing anytime soon.  In fact, they look like they are only going to get crazier!  I started school last wee
