Image
Hey! Today's review is for Four Days of You and Me  by Miranda Kenneally! I am enjoying reading so much again, I am just on a roll!   From Goodreads: A new swoon-worthy romance following a couple's love story on the same date over four years. Every May 7, the students at Coffee County High School take a class trip.  And every year, Lulu's relationship with Alex Rouvelis gets a little more complicated.  Freshman year, they went from sworn enemies to more than friends after a close encounter in an escape room.  It's been hard for Lulu to quit Alex ever since. Through breakups, makeups, and dating other people, each year's class trip brings the pair back together and forces them to confront their undeniable connection.  From the science museum to an amusement park, from New York City to London, Lulu learns one thing is for sure: love is the biggest trip of all.  My Thoughts: This one was cute!  I'll be honest, it wasn't my favorite Mi...

Coming Up For Air by Miranda Kenneally (Audiobook)

Image
Hey Everyone! Finished listening to Miranda Kenneally's Coming Up for Air  during my drives to work!  I have had this book sitting on my night stand since last summer when it was released, but my head has just not been able to get into reading a book, so I figured out the next best thing...audiobooks! From Goodreads : All of Maggie's focus and free time is spent swimming.  She's not only striving to earn scholarships - she's training to qualify for the Olympics.  It helps that her best friend, Levi, is also on the team and that he cheers her on, but he's already earned his Olympic tryout, so sometimes his presence creates more pressure.  If that wasn't stressful enough, life become even more complicated once Maggie goes on a college visit.  There, she realizes how much of the typical high-school experience she's missed out on by being in the pool.  Not one to shy away from a challenge, Maggie decides to try to squeeze the most out of he...

Defending Taylor (Hundred Oaks #7) by Miranda Kenneally

Image
Hello Everyone! Another review for you! This time of the newly released  Defending Taylor  by Miranda Kenneally! From Goodreads : There are no mistakes in love. Captain of the soccer team, president of the Debate Club, contender for valedictorian: Taylor's always  pushed herself to be perfect.  After all, that's what is expected of a senator's daughter.  But one impulsive decision-one lie to cover for boyfriend-and Taylor's kicked out of private school.  Everything she's worked so hard for is gone, and now she's starting over at Hundred Oaks High. Soccer has always been Taylor's escape from the pressures of school and family, but it's hard to fit in and play on a team that used to be her rival.  The only person who seems to understand all that she's going through is her older brother's best friend, Ezra.  Taylor's had a crush on him for as long as she can remember.  But it's hard to trust after having been betrayed. ...

Jesse's Girl (Hundred Oaks #6) by Miranda Kenneally

Image
Hey Everyone!! I'm back for another review!!! I'm so excited to share this one with you, because it is of a book that I received only last Friday and devoured over this past weekend! Miranda Kenneally's Jesse's Girl ! From Goodreads: Everyone at Hundred Oaks High knows that career mentoring day is a joke.  So when Maya Henry said she wanted to be a rock star, she never imagined she's get to shadow *the* Jesse Scott, Nashville's teen idol.. But spending the day with Jesse is far from a dream come true.  He's as gorgeous as his music, but seeing all that he's accomplished is just a reminder of everything Maya's lost: her trust, her boyfriend, their band, and any chance to play the music she craves.  Not to mention that Jesse's pushy and opinionated.  He made it on his own, and he thinks Maya's playing back up to other people's dreams.  Does she have what it takes to follow her heart --- and go solo? My Thoughts: I abs...

Hey Everyone! :) Miranda Kenneally is one my favorite authors!  She's one of those authors where I will read their latest novel as soon as they are released!  I've reviewed all of her novels! I just can't get enough of her books! Well, thanks to Netgalley I got the amazing opportunity to review an ARC copy of Breathe, Annie, Breathe  #5 in The Hundred Oaks Series! From Goodreads : Annie hates running. No matter how far she jogs, she can’t escape the guilt that if she hadn’t broken up with Kyle, he might still be alive. So to honor his memory, she starts preparing for the marathon he intended to race. But the training is even more grueling than Annie could have imagined. Despite her coaching, she’s at war with her body, her mind—and her heart. With every mile that athletic Jeremiah cheers her on, she grows more conflicted. She wants to run into his arms…and sprint in the opposite direction. For Annie, opening up to love again may be even more of a challenge tha...

And it's Monday Everyone!! But to cheer all of you up I'd like to introduce once again Erin, who I first introduced to everyone on  Saturday  !   Erin has written her first guest review for The Romance Bookie, and it's... Catching Jordan  by Miranda Kenneally!! One of my absolute favorites!!! From Erin: From  Goodreads : ONE OF THE BOYS What girl doesn't want to be surrounded by gorgeous jocks day in and day out? Jordan Woods isn't just surrounded by hot guys, though-she leads them as the captain and quarterback of her high school football team. They all see her as one of the guys and that's just fine. As long as she gets her athletic scholarship to a powerhouse university. But everything she's ever worked for is threatened when Ty Green moves to her school. Not only is he an amazing QB, but he's also amazingly hot. And for the first time, Jordan's feeling vulnerable. Can she keep her head in the game while her heart's...

Racing Savannah (#4 in Hundred Oaks Series) by Miranda Kenneally

Image
I'm so excited that I was able to able to finish Miranda Kenneally's latest novel, Racing Savannah, before the end of the year!  I had no other choice...I got it in the mail late last week, after having ordered it off of Amazon for only $5.99, and of course had to read it immediately! Miranda has become one of my favorite authors! From Goodread : They’re from two different worlds. He lives in the estate house, and she spends most of her time in the stables helping her father train horses. In fact, Savannah has always been much more comfortable around horses than boys. Especially boys like Jack Goodwin—cocky, popular and completely out of her league. She knows the rules: no mixing between the staff and the Goodwin family. But Jack has no such boundaries. With her dream of becoming a horse jockey, Savannah isn’t exactly one to follow the rules either. She’s not going to let someone tell her a girl isn’t tough enough to race. Sure, it’s dangerous. Then again, so is dating...
