Meg-A Readers Recap Week 4 (Review of Avalon High Manga Series!)

Image
Hey Everyone!! Week 4 is done and over with at Meg-A Readers! I'm excited to share with you all my review of Meg's Avalon High Manga series!! I reviewed  Avalon High  last year during Meg-A Readers, and have been wanting to read the manga continuation series ever since I first read Avalon back in high school! From Goodreads: Avalon High: Coronation Volume 1: The Merlin Prophecy Being a new student at Avalon High has been exciting for Ellie, to say the least--she's an honor student, a star on the track team, and, oh yeah, dating the super-hot class president, Will. Who also happens to be the alleged reincarnation of King Arthur. Ellie couldn't be happier to have Will in her life, but she's also worried that his estrangement from his parents is tearing him apart. To make matters worse, Will's doubt that he really is King Arthur could prevent the Merlin Prophecy--an age of enlightenment--from occurring. Can Ellie convince Will to believe in something

Right of Way by Lauren Barnholdt (ARC)

Yay, finally somewhat back on track on reading review copies! :) This time around I read Lauren Barnholdt's newest, Right Of Way,  which was released July 9th, 2013.  Thank you to Edelweiss and Simon Pulse for accepting me to review it! :) From Goodreads : Can a road trip repair a romance gone wrong? Find out in this standalone companion to Lauren Barnholdt’s  Two-way Street . Here are Peyton and Jace, meeting on vacation. Click! It’s awesome, it’s easy, it’s romantic. This is the real deal. Unless it isn’t. Because when you’re in love, you don’t just stop calling one day. And you don’t keep secrets. Or lie. And when your life starts falling apart, you’re supposed to have the other person to lean on. Here are Peyton and Jace again, broken up but thrown together on a road trip. One of them is lying about the destination. One of them is pretending not to be leaving something behind. And neither of them is prepared for what’s coming on the road ahead… My Thoughts: This wa

Once again, this one is US only, just because of the shipping costs.  SO SORRY!!!! For the giveaway this week, I am giving away a SIGNED copy of Meg Cabot's fourth book in the Heather Wells series, which was released last year, Size 12 and Ready to Rock ! So enter here: a Rafflecopter giveaway Now for the recap!! Now due to a misunderstanding, I completely forgot to mention a post from last week, so instead of the one post I thought we were supposed to have, we actually had two! Beautiful Bitch (#1.5 Beautiful Bastard Series) by Christina Lauren (Novella Review) (PLUS GIVEAWAY!!)

Image
Hey Everyone! Yay another book finished!! :) From  Goodreads : Picking up where Beautiful Bastard left off, Chloe Mills and Bennett Ryan continue their steamy, combative relationship. Just when Chloe’s career starts to take off, Bennett wishes it would all slow down long enough to spend a wild night alone with his girlfriend. But after he refuses to take no for an answer, Chloe and Bennett find themselves with two plane tickets, one French Villa, and a surprising conversation that, predictably, leaves them wrestling under the covers. My Thoughts: Yay, I'm so excited to have more of Chloe and Bennett!! :)  These two characters were awesome in Christina Lauren's first novel in the BB series,  Beautiful Bastard ! We get to hear Chloe and Bennett's story continue right where BB left off! What I think I loved most about these two characters is that they don't take each others crap, and while for most couples that would be the end, that characteristic is w

I hope you're still enjoying some sunshine! :) So anyway, I read the third book in Sylvia Day's Crossfire Series, Entwined With You , which was released at the beginning of June. From  Goodreads: The worldwide phenomenon continues as Eva and Gideon face the demons of their pasts, and accept the consequences of their obsessive desires…   From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I saw the dangerous and damaged soul

Meg was so awesome and kind to both Diana and I, that she sent us both ARC copies of Awaken !! :) ***WARNING***This Review may contain spoilers from the previous books in the Abandon  Trilogy!!!*** From Goodreads : From #1  New York Times  bestselling author Meg Cabot, the dark reimagining of the Persephone myth comes to a thrilling conclusion. Death has her in his clutches. She doesn’t want him to let go. Seventeen-year-old Pierce Oliviera knew by accepting the love of John Hayden, she’d be forced to live forever in the one place she’s always dreaded most: the Underworld. The sacrifice seemed worth it, though, because it meant she could be with the boy she l
