***WARNING!!! MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FROM PREVIOUS NOVELS IN SERIES!!! AND HAS SOME STRONG SEXUAL CONTENT NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18!!!!!*** Hey Everyone! So while I've started reading like three or four different books, I wasn't getting 100% into them, so the other day I just decided to just pick up my Kindle and find something I've been looking forward to reading, but just haven't had the chance to pick up! That's when I found Lisa Renee Jones's Revealing Us , the third in her Inside Out Series!  I love this series, I've read both the novellas and the actually full-length books that go with this series! From Goodreads: The third installment in the sexy Inside Out erotic romance series—in the seductive tradition of   Fifty Shades of Grey . You've discovered Rebecca's secrets. You've discovered Sara's secrets. Now Sara will discover "his" deepest, darkest secrets...but will those secrets bind them tog

What Really Happened in Peru (The Bane Chronicles #1) by Cassandra Clare and Sarah Rees Brennan

Hey Everyone! As some of you may know, I'm a huge fan of Cassandra Clare's books!  So last year when I got to meet Cassie, along with Maureen Johnson and Sarah Rees Brennan, I was stoked on life to find out she had co-authored with both Maureen and Sarah and written a novella series, in the world of both The Mortal Instrument  and Infernal Devices  series! Well, a year later, I've FINALLY come around to reading the first book in The Bane Chronicles , entitled, What Really Happened in Peru ! What Really Happened in Peru  was written by both Cassandra Clare and Sarah Rees Brennan! From Goodreads : Fans of The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices know that Magnus Bane is banned from Peru—and now they can find out why. One of ten adventures in The Bane Chronicles. There are good reasons Peru is off-limits to Magnus Bane. Follow Magnus’s Peruvian escapades as he drags his fellow warlocks Ragnor Fell and Catarina Loss into trouble, learns several instruments

Random Post #7: Getting Out of my Reading Funk

Hey Everyone! So I feel bad. I've neglected The Romance Bookie so much in the last year, it's not even funny! A lot has happened in my life! I got my drivers license, met an amazing guy, working like crazy, and of course school. It's been all a lot to handle, some amazing, some crazy, and some just super annoying!  However, it all needs to be done, and sometimes unfortunately, while I hate to admit it, reading has to go on the back burner. That being said, I'm still so unbelievably in love with books.  I went to a couple of Thrift Stores the other day, and where do I head first? The book section of course! It's just second nature by now!  I did hold myself back from buying too many books, and ended up walking away with one good find that I couldn't turn down. And it's not like I have stopped reading!  I still read!  It just has been taking me a lot longer to finish a book! On average I've been finishing maybe one or two books a month...whi

Music Tuesday #73

Hey Everyone!! For Music Tuesday #73, I've got a current favorite of mine... I'm a huge fan of power ballads, and while this is a cover, I just can't get enough of this rendition. Jasmine Thompson has got a great powerful voice! I recently discovered her on Pandora, and just can't get enough of her voice! The Romance Bookie :)

Wow, guys it's been WAY too long since I've done a Music Tuesday post! I've gotten so caught up in life, that I've totally neglected The Romance Bookie, and I'm extremely sad about that actually!  So while I know nothing can make up for the past eight months of me being extremely slow and behind on reading, I am going to share with you one of my current favorite songs! :) This one is Lorde's latest one, just absolutely love listening and jamming to this one in my car on the way to school! :) Happy Tuesday everyone! The Romance Bookie :)

Frostbite (Vampire Academy #2) by Richelle Mead

Happy Sunday everyone!! :) Goodness, I have spent all day enjoying a nice relaxing day of being lazy!  In fact, I finally got around to finishing the second Vampire Academy book Frostbite !  It's only a bit over a week since I started it, but I was getting a little frustrated that I couldn't continue reading it, when I had to do homework instead...because let me just say, this series is GOOD!!!! I love it so much!! I'm so unbelievably looking forward to reading the next books in the series. In fact, right now I'm holding myself back from going immediately to Barnes and Noble.com and buying right away, because unfortunately I need gas money this week ;(. Anyway, let me get to the review of Richelle Mead's second book in the Vampire Academy Series,   Frostbite ! From Goodreads : Rose loves Dimitri, Dimitri might love Tasha, and Mason would die to be with Rose...   It’s winter break at St. Vladimir’s, but Rose is feeling anything but festive. A massive Strig

Vampire Academy (Movie Review)

So guys, I've been on the Vampire Academy craze for the past two weeks now!  I've become absolutely addicted to the books! Addicted! In fact, before I even finished the first one I drove to Barnes and Noble, renewed my membership, and bought book two!  I haven't done that in the longest time! I swear! In fact, the last time I did that was during my Twilight  craze in 2008, during my senior year of high school.  Hmm...vampires make me do crazy things, I guess. ;) Anyway, tonight I saw Vampire Academy, the movie!  After reading the book, I forced myself not to see any trailers, because I wanted to be 100% surprised going in. And this morning, I was hearing some early reviews, saying how awesome it was and how close to the book it was! So naturally, I was excited! Well...I'm just going to go straight to the point... I HATED IT! I'm sorry, I honestly don't use that word very often ("Hate"), but honestly that was one of the WORST movies I have eve
