Hey Everyone! Wow, we are sure getting close to that New Year aren't we?  THREE more days left of 2014!! I just can't believe it! And let me just say, I couldn't have chosen a better book to end my 2014 reading time on! Isla and the Happily Ever After , the third and last book in the Anna and the French Kiss Series  by Stephanie Perkins. From Goodreads : Love ignites in the City That Never Sleeps, but can it last?   Hopeless romantic Isla has had a crush on introspective cartoonist Josh since their first year at the School of America in Paris. And after a chance encounter in Manhattan over the summer, romance might be closer than Isla imagined. But as they begin their senior year back in France, Isla and Josh are forced to confront the challenges every young couple must face, including family drama, uncertainty about their college futures, and the very real possibility of being apart.  Featuring cameos from fan-favorites Anna, Étienne, Lola, and C...

Dirty Rowdy Thing (Wild Seasons #2) by Christina Lauren (ARC)

Image
Hey Everyone!! Finally a review for you! :) This one is for Dirty Rowdy Thing  (Wild Season #2) by two of my favorite authors: Christina Lauren! :) From Goodreads : From the New York Times bestselling author of Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player, Book Two of the brand-new Wild Seasons series that started with Sweet Filthy Boy—a story of friends, love, and lust. Despite their rowdy hookups, Harlow and Finn don’t even like each other...which would explain why their marriage lasted only twelve hours. He needs to be in charge and takes whatever he wants. She lives by the Want-something-done? Do-it-yourself mantra. Maybe she’s too similar to the rugged fisherman—or just what he needs.   My Thoughts: First off, I'm a huge fan of Christina and Lauren's!  I have reviewed and loved all of their books! I reviewed the first book in the Wild Season  Series,  Sweet Filthy Boy  back in May when it first came out and truly enjoyed it...

Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover (ARC Review)

Image
Hey Everyone! So today, I'm taking part in the Ugly Love  by Colleen Hoover Blog Tour!!  Colleen's latest release, Ugly Love , hit shelves on August 5th, and for all Hoover fans...Man, is this the perfect book to add to your collection! This is only my second book by Colleen, that I've read...I know I jumped on the Colleen Hoover bandwagon a little late.  But at least I've joined it now!!! I read her last novel,  Maybe Someday , a few months ago, and absolutely loved it!  And now I've read Ugly Love  too, and holy moly was it good!!! From Goodreads : When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she knows it isn’t love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves t...

City of Heavenly Fire (#6 in the Mortal Instrument Series) by Cassandra Clare

Image
For us readers, finishing a book can not only be an experience of happiness, happy endings, and love, but also an experience of heartbreak, love lost, and the agony of waiting...just in case if that author changes his/her mind and decides to write another book.  But just because you are broken as a reader when you finish that book, that doesn't mean you didn't love it!! No. It might mean that you are sad, because you have had to say goodbye to some of your favorite characters.  I know my fellow Harry Potter , fans can relate.  I mean come on, if you were like me, and grew up from the fourth grade all the way to the 10th grade, like me, with those characters, you know exactly what I'm talking about! At the end of May, Cassandra Clare released the last book in her Mortal Instrument Series...a series I first fell in love with in the early summer of 2011, when I first read  City of Bones . The Mortal Instruments , has been one of my favorite series of all time since ...

All Lined Up (Rusk University #1) by Cora Carmack (ARC)

Image
Hey Everyone!! So I finished Cora Carmack's newest novel All Lined Up, the first book in her new series Rusk University,  and I'm so darn excited to share with you my review!! When I was given the opportunity to review this one a few months ago for the blog tour, I instantly jumped at the chance; which for some of you, if you've been reading up on my blog for a while now, know that I haven't been the best reader in the past months, therefore haven't really been accepting any review request/blog tour dates, only because my schedule has been so crazy busy, I just haven't had the chance to read as much as I've wanted! Anyway, I did it! I read my first blog tour book in like almost a year, I think!! Therefore, it's time to give myself a pat on the back ;). From Goodreads : New York Times   and   USA Today   bestselling author Cora Carmack follows up her trio of hits—Losing It, Faking It, and Finding It—with this thrilling first novel in an explo...

Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover

Image
Hey Everyone!! So before now, I have never read a book by Colleen Hoover...I know, I know, some of you must be asking yourself, "What?!! WHY?!!"  And trust me when I say, I started asking myself that exact same question about half way through Maybe Someday , Colleen's latest release. Thanks to Atria, I received a review copy of Maybe Someday , a few weeks ago, and finally got around to reading it the last couple of weeks (yes, couple of WEEKS, sorry guys, I've been busy unfortunately!) Anyway here's my review! :) From Goodreads : At twenty-two years old, aspiring musician Sydney Blake has a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her good friend, Tori. Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson

Image
Happy Sunday Everyone!! Have any of you ever read a book where you found yourself wanting to do something afterwards, because it inspired you?   Second Chance Summer  by Morgan Matson is one of those books.  I found myself wanting to run to my parents and giving both of them a big fat hug and telling them I love them. From Goodreads : From the Flying Start author of  Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour , a powerful novel about hope in the face of  heartbreak.   Taylor Edwards’ family might not be the closest-knit—everyone is a little too busy and overscheduled—but for the most part, they get along just fine. Then Taylor’s dad gets devastating news, and her parents decide that the family will spend one last summer all together at their old lake house in the Pocono Mountains. Crammed into a place much smaller and more rustic than they are used to, they begin to get to know each other again. And Taylor discovers that the peop...
