HAPPY FIVE YEAR TO THE ROMANCE BOOKIE!!!! I can't believe it has been FIVE YEARS!!  I'm so sorry I missed it, but dang the holiday have been crazy!  Plus it was during my last week of school!! But the stress, the inability to concentrate on any reading, and missing my blog anniversary has paid off...because... I GOT ALL A's MY SEMESTER AT UNIVERSITY!!!!!! Here's the proof... Pretty cool right? I'm pretty darn proud! So yes it's a been a busy semester, of studying and running around, but it paid off! Hey Everyone!!!! WOW, I honestly can't believe it has been another year!  The time sure is flying when you're having fun! While, this year has been extremely slow, it has still been an amazing year! FOUR YEARS GUYS!!! FOUR!! On this day in 2010, I was going through all the layout settings, and designing The Romance Bookie.  It looked so different back then, with a simple sea-foam green background, and the words "The Romance Bookie" written over the top in purple; it's definitely come a long way! I know this year has not been as huge of a year for The Romance Bookie as the previous three; however, none the less it's been a huge year for me!  I'm growing more and more as a person, learning more and more, and enjoying life more and more, mostly thanks to a very special someone in my life. I'm one semester away from transferring to University from City College, which after six years you may be saying "About time!".  Which is very true...

Hey Everyone! I just can't believe it...but it's been THREE YEARS since I started The Romance Bookie!! Wow, I know I say this every year, but what an incredible three years! This past year brought on my first major publisher sending me books (Atria and Gallery, which are publishers through Simon and Schuster). Over the the past three years I have written almost 250 reviews! 250!!  I just counted them up...and can I just say I'm a little bit in a state of shock! Unbelievable! 250!!!!!!! Before I say thank you to everyone that has helped me with this blog over the last three years, I just want to say again how sorry I am about neglecting The Romance Bookie the last six months! You see 2013 was a year of many firsts for me.  Among them was getting my drivers license, which has allowed me a lot more freedom, getting TWO news jobs, and also meeting an incredible guy.  Before this year, I had always been a bit of a loner.  I will admit at the time I preferre...

Hello everyone! I am very excited to be posting this today, because tomorrow is... THE ROMANCE BOOKIE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!  I can't believe it's already been a year, since I started The Romance Bookie.  It's become one of my hobbies, posting here.  I've enjoyed writing reviews, discussing books, movies (based on books), and music.  I find myself every time I'm reading a new book, figuring out different things to write while I'm reading :). Tomorrow is going to be very exciting!  It's not only the One Year Anniversary of The Romance Bookie, but also my first day of WINTER BREAK!! That's right, finals are over!! "Schools out forever!"...okay, at least until the middle of January :), and then it's back to studying.  And then I am also going to be going to the Ronald Reagan Library tomorrow; which I'm SUPER excited about!! I have wanted to go there for a while now; it's a library after all, which is almost as awesome as booksto...
