2016 Challenges

Image
Hey Everyone! I know it's already past mid-January (JEEZ, I have a feeling this year is going to fly just as fast as last year!), but it's time to announce my and Erin's 2016 Challenges, that we will be participating in this year! The Romance Bookie's 2016 Challenges: Goodreads Challenge: The Goodreads Challenge is to determine how many books you want to read total this year.  I have decided to REALLY low ball it this year, because my "low-ball" of 30 books last year, turned into me reading like 13...so yes I failed, but also keep in mind I am 24 years old, going to university level classes (full-load), and had two jobs.  Plus, honestly, my mind wasn't so much into reading last year.  So this year, and don't freak out please people...the goal, for NOW, is to read... 10 books. I know, I know, that's pathetic.  But if I read more, which I do hope I do, I will raise this goal.  But for now, 10 books feels right. POP SUGAR Reading Challe...

2015 Challenges!!

Hey Everyone! Mandy & Erin here! We're so excited to announce our 2015 Challenges that we will be participating in today!! It's going to be an exciting year, so these will make it even better! For Mandy: So first off, time to decide HOW MANY book I want to read at least by the end of 2015???!!!  Well, let's see...to be honest the only reason I was actually to complete my goal of 50 last year, was because I had reread ALL of the Princess Diaries books, which was like 13 or 14 books in a couple of weeks! So for 2015, because I won't, most likely, be rereading them AGAIN, except maybe #10, for when the new one comes out in June (EEEEE!!!!!!), I have decided to lower that goal a tad this year.  I know, I know, but to be fair, if I feel I am doing very well, I can always raise that goal later! But I know 2015 is going to be another intense, yet exciting year, because I will hopefully be transferring to University this year!!!  I know, it's about time, right? ...

The Au Pairs (The Au Pairs #1) by Melissa de la Cruz (Review)

Finally another book off the To-Be-Read Shelf!!  VERY slowly making process on that one... Anyone, this time around I read Melissa de la Cruz's, if I'm not mistaken, Debut book The Au Pairs .  I picked this one up at a Goodwill about a year ago, because it seemed like a fun beach read! :) From Goodreads : Three girls with three agendas and the ultimate destination: the Hamptons. Summer in the city? Way overrated. Everybody who's anybody in New York City summers in the Hamptons. Mara, Eliza, and Jacqui all want a piece of the action, all for different reasons. So the girls answer a classified ad to become au pairs. How bad can it be, watching a couple of kids on the beach all day? They've got the swank address, the sweet ride, and an all-access pass to the hottest social scene on the East Coast. It's shaping up to be the summer of their lives. My Thoughts: I'm just going to say it right away...this book was a tad annoying.  Out of the three main ch...
