Hey Everyone! So Saturday I got to attend my 4th year in a row at YA'll West!  If you don't know what YA'll West   is, it is one of the biggest West Coast Young Adult book festivals.  It is the sister festival to YA Fest, which happens on the East Coast every year.  It is a lot of fun, has a TON of authors, panels, and a lot of free stuff that is given away each year. I have really enjoyed my four years going to YA'll West, and have met SOOOOO many amazing writers and readers there!  Among the authors I have met there are:  Simone Elkeles, Tahereh Mafi, Melissa de la Cruz, Margaret Stohl, Kami Garcia, Christina Lauren, Libba Bray, Rainbow Rowell, Richelle Mead, Susanne Colasanti, Kody Keplinger, Ransom Riggs, David Levithan, Jessica Spotswood, Veronica Roth, Allyson Noel, Ally Condie, and sooo many more!! I am getting older though, 28 years old this year, and I am starting to feel a bit old to be going to these events.  YA'll West is getting...

The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E. Smith

Image
Hey Everyone!! I am SOOO Close to my yearly goal of reading 50 books, that this is so happening this year!!!! ONE MORE TO GO!!! Anyway, this time around I read The Geography of You and Me  by one of my favorite authors, Jennifer E. Smith! From  Goodreads : Lucy and Owen meet somewhere between the tenth and eleventh floors of a New York City apartment building, on an elevator rendered useless by a citywide blackout. After they're rescued, they spend a single night together, wandering the darkened streets and marveling at the rare appearance of stars above Manhattan. But once the power is restored, so is reality. Lucy soon moves to Edinburgh with her parents, while Owen heads out west with his father. Lucy and Owen's relationship plays out across the globe as they stay in touch through postcards, occasional e-mails, and -- finally -- a reunion in the city where they first met. A carefully charted map of a long-distance relationship, Jennifer E. Smith's new novel ...

This is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith

Can I just say I LOVE reading a book I can use for a challenge!! :) From  Goodreads : If fate sent you an email, would you answer? When teenage movie star Graham Larkin accidentally sends small town girl Ellie O'Neill an email about his pet pig, the two seventeen-year-olds strike up a witty and unforgettable correspondence, discussing everything under the sun, except for their names or backgrounds. Then Graham finds out that Ellie's Maine hometown is the perfect location for his latest film, and he decides to take their relationship from online to in-person. But can a star as famous as Graham really start a relationship with an ordinary girl like Ellie? And why does Ellie want to avoid the media's spotlight at all costs? My Thoughts: This is a book all about fate.  Fate of finding that one person you are meant to be with, and finding a way to stay with that person!   I was talking to one of Goodreads friends, who also happened to be reading the book at...

The Statisticality of Love at First Sight (oh wait, that's not it)... The Probability of Love at First Sight...(nope...that's not it either!) Hmm...I got it! The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight ! Whew! I got it! What a love title right??!! But let me just tell you that title was the seriously the reason why I bought this book! Just look at it! Isn't it great!? Especially for a romantic like me!! :) And let me just say...I am SO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS BOOK!! Before I go into why, let me tell you a bit about the book: Hadley is heading to London...for her father's wedding.  She hasn't seen him in about a year, and she definitely has never met his future wife.  And she's definitely not interested in doing so.  But does she have a choice? Nope. Her mom has sent her to London. And she misses her flight by four minutes! Those four minutes change everything! If it wasn't for those four minutes Hadley would never have met Oliver...the...
