Image
Hey! Here for another review! This one for the third book in the Dash and Lily  series, Mind the Gap, Dash & Lily  by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan! From Goodreads: For Dash and Lily, it's beginning to look a lot like...distance! Just in time for the series release of Dash & Lily on Netflix comes a new helping of love -- this time across the pond as best-selling authors Rachel Cohn and David Levithan send Dash and Lily to England. Dash and Lily were feeling closer than ever...it's just too bad they're now an ocean apart. After Dash gets accepted to Oxford University and Lily stays in New York to take care of her dog walking business, the devoted couple are struggling to make a long distance relationship work. And when Dash breaks the news that he won't  be coming home for Christmas, Lily makes a decision: if Dash can't come to her, she'll join him in London. It's a perfect romantic gesture...that spins out of Lily's control. Soon Dash an...

Royals (aka "Prince Charming") (Royals #1) by Rachel Hawkins

Hey Everyone!   So I finished another book! I actually just upped my  Goodreads  reading goal, because I had it set to 10, and I've already surpassed it! I have it now set to 25, which if I keep going the way I have been these last few months, I shouldn't have a problem at all!  :).  It was a long week for us!  We had appointments after appointments.  And then on Friday I did the most horrible thing...dropped my phone into our pond.  ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ It is gone.  We can't find it.  Our pond is super deep, and you can't see to the bottom.  My husband tried for hours!  He went in, and swam around, and then I ran from store to store to find a huge magnet and rope, and then he went fishing for it for hours and hours.  But no luck.  So Friday we got to run to the Apple Store in the evening and get me a new phone.  I'm just super bummed, because normally I would love a new phone, but I truly love my XS Max.  And t...

The Upside of Falling Down by Rebekah Crane

Hey Everyone! I found this really great sounding book on Amazon for my new Kindle, and I found myself reading it, and just couldn't get enough of it!  So I finished it! From Goodreads: For Clementine Haas, finding herself is more than a nice idea.  Ever since she woke up in an Irish hospital with complete amnesia, self-discovery has become her mission.  They tell her she's the lone survivor of a plane crash.  They tell her she's lucky to be alive.  But she doesn't feel lucky.  She feels...lost.  With the relentless Irish press bearing down on her, and a father she may not even recognize on his way from America to take her home, Clementine assumes a new identity and enlists a blue-eyed Irish stranger, Kieran O'Connell, to help her escape her forgotten life...and start a new one. Hiding out in a sleepy town of Waterville, Ireland, Clementine discovers there's an upside to a life that's fallen apart.  But as her lies ...

Hey Everyone! Wow, we are sure getting close to that New Year aren't we?  THREE more days left of 2014!! I just can't believe it! And let me just say, I couldn't have chosen a better book to end my 2014 reading time on! Isla and the Happily Ever After , the third and last book in the Anna and the French Kiss Series  by Stephanie Perkins. From Goodreads : Love ignites in the City That Never Sleeps, but can it last?   Hopeless romantic Isla has had a crush on introspective cartoonist Josh since their first year at the School of America in Paris. And after a chance encounter in Manhattan over the summer, romance might be closer than Isla imagined. But as they begin their senior year back in France, Isla and Josh are forced to confront the challenges every young couple must face, including family drama, uncertainty about their college futures, and the very real possibility of being apart.  Featuring cameos from fan-favorites Anna, Étienne, Lola, and C...

The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E. Smith

Image
Hey Everyone!! I am SOOO Close to my yearly goal of reading 50 books, that this is so happening this year!!!! ONE MORE TO GO!!! Anyway, this time around I read The Geography of You and Me  by one of my favorite authors, Jennifer E. Smith! From  Goodreads : Lucy and Owen meet somewhere between the tenth and eleventh floors of a New York City apartment building, on an elevator rendered useless by a citywide blackout. After they're rescued, they spend a single night together, wandering the darkened streets and marveling at the rare appearance of stars above Manhattan. But once the power is restored, so is reality. Lucy soon moves to Edinburgh with her parents, while Owen heads out west with his father. Lucy and Owen's relationship plays out across the globe as they stay in touch through postcards, occasional e-mails, and -- finally -- a reunion in the city where they first met. A carefully charted map of a long-distance relationship, Jennifer E. Smith's new novel ...

Just One Night (Just One Day #2.5) by Gayle Forman (Novella Review)

Image
Happy Sunday Everyone! So very recently, in fact I believe earlier this week, I came across a post from Gayle Forman, one of my favorite authors, where I shared a link to her new novella, Just One Night , which happened to be the continuation of Willem and Allyson's journey from her two previous books, Just One Day  and Just One Year ! I, of course, had to get it immediately, because the ending for Just One Year , has always left so many unanswered questions! From Goodreads: After spending one life-changing day in Paris with laid-back Dutch actor Willem De Ruiter, sheltered American good girl Allyson “Lulu” Healey discovered her new lover had disappeared without a trace. Just One Day followed Allyson’s quest to reunite with Willem; Just One Year chronicled the pair’s year apart from Willem’s perspective. Now, back together at last, this delectable e-novella reveals the couple’s final chapter. My Thoughts: This novella actually came out this week on May 29...

Just One Year (Just One Day #2) by Gayle Forman

Image
Hey Everyone! Once again, it's been a while, but I guess that is what happens when you've got four jobs, plus school, plus relationships and a social life to uphold :).  But anyway, FINALLY finished Gayle Forman's latest release Just One Year, the sequel to earlier this year's release  Just One Day . From Goodreads : Just One Day. Just One Year. Just One Read. Before you find out how their story ends, remember how it began.... When he opens his eyes, Willem doesn’t know where in the world he is—Prague or Dubrovnik or back in Amsterdam. All he knows is that he is once again alone, and that he needs to find a girl named Lulu. They shared one magical day in Paris, and something about that day—that girl—makes Willem wonder if they aren’t fated to be together. He travels all over the world, from Mexico to India, hoping to reconnect with her. But as months go by and Lulu remains elusive, Willem starts to question if the hand of fate is as strong as he’d thought. . . ...

Finding It (Losing It #3) by Cora Carmack (ARC) (Blog Tour)

Image
I am so excited to be asked to be a part of the blog tour of Cora Carmack's new book Finding It, the third book in Cora's Losing It series! I am a huge fan of Cora's first three books (that's including Keeping Her , the novella she wrote for the series too!)  in the series, and was definitely excited to read this new one! Unfortunately, while I enjoyed this one, I will admit it wasn't exactly what I was hoping for... From Goodreads : Sometimes you have to lose yourself to find where you truly belong... Most girls would kill to spend months traveling around Europe after college graduation with no responsibility, no parents, and no-limit credit cards. Kelsey Summers is no exception. She's having the time of her life . . . or that's what she keeps telling herself. It's a lonely business trying to find out who you are, especially when you're afraid you won't like what you discover. No amount of drinking or dancing can chase away Kelsey...

The Last Little Blue Envelope

Image
***WARNING: This entry contains SPOILERS from the book 13 Little Blue Envelopes*** A few months back I had read and reviewed 13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson.  I had really enjoyed the story.  Just the idea of traveling through Europe reading at each stop the next envelope left to you by your dead aunt seemed fascinating to me. Most of us have lost a loved one.  Unfortunately, it's part of life, and part of growing up; and that's why I found the main character, Ginny, to be so relate able.  I mean, I am not saying that everyone's relative or loved ones, leaves them a series of envelopes with a sort of scavenger hunt, but you know what I mean. ANYWAY, (I am ALWAYS getting off topic!!) I picked up the sequel, The Last Little Blue Envelope about a week ago at the library.   Back in 13 Little Blue Envelopes Ginny had almost completed the adventure her aunt had given her; however, just as she was about to open that last (13th) little envelop...
