Vampire Academy (Movie Review)

Image
So guys, I've been on the Vampire Academy craze for the past two weeks now!  I've become absolutely addicted to the books! Addicted! In fact, before I even finished the first one I drove to Barnes and Noble, renewed my membership, and bought book two!  I haven't done that in the longest time! I swear! In fact, the last time I did that was during my Twilight  craze in 2008, during my senior year of high school.  Hmm...vampires make me do crazy things, I guess. ;) Anyway, tonight I saw Vampire Academy, the movie!  After reading the book, I forced myself not to see any trailers, because I wanted to be 100% surprised going in. And this morning, I was hearing some early reviews, saying how awesome it was and how close to the book it was! So naturally, I was excited! Well...I'm just going to go straight to the point... I HATED IT! I'm sorry, I honestly don't use that word very often ("Hate"), but honestly that was one of the WORST movies I have eve...

Finding It (Losing It #3) by Cora Carmack (ARC) (Blog Tour)

Image
I am so excited to be asked to be a part of the blog tour of Cora Carmack's new book Finding It, the third book in Cora's Losing It series! I am a huge fan of Cora's first three books (that's including Keeping Her , the novella she wrote for the series too!)  in the series, and was definitely excited to read this new one! Unfortunately, while I enjoyed this one, I will admit it wasn't exactly what I was hoping for... From Goodreads : Sometimes you have to lose yourself to find where you truly belong... Most girls would kill to spend months traveling around Europe after college graduation with no responsibility, no parents, and no-limit credit cards. Kelsey Summers is no exception. She's having the time of her life . . . or that's what she keeps telling herself. It's a lonely business trying to find out who you are, especially when you're afraid you won't like what you discover. No amount of drinking or dancing can chase away Kelsey...

***WARNING!!! MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FROM PREVIOUS NOVELS AND CURRENT NOVEL IN SERIES!! PLUS THIS BOOK IS FOR EVERYONE OVER THE AGE OF 18!!!*** Hey Everyone!! So I finally finished another book! So sorry it's been taking me a while to read this summer, but I've been enjoying it doing things other than reading for once! :)  Which is sad yet super exciting at the same time!  I hope everyone is enjoying their summer vacation, and if you don't actually get a vacation, sorry!! I hope you're still enjoying some sunshine! :) So anyway, I read the third book in Sylvia Day's Crossfire Series, Entwined With You , which was released at the beginning of June. From  Goodreads: The worldwide phenomenon continues as Eva and Gideon face the demons of their pasts, and accept the consequences of their obsessive desires…   From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I saw the dangerous and damaged soul ...

Cruisin' by Sarah Mlynowski (Short Story) Review

Image
From Goodreads : From the critically acclaimed author of Ten Things We Did (and Probably Shouldn't Have) and the Magic in Manhattan series comes a fun short story about taking the plunge on the high seas, where not everything is what it seems. Kristin is ready to take the next step. . . . The only problem is she hasn't found the right guy to take it with her. That's why she agreed to go on the ominously named Cruise to Nowhere with her best friend, Liz. There are plenty of cute guys on the ship to choose from if only Kristin can work up the nerve—and stop worrying about the reports in the tabloids that passengers on cruises have been mysteriously disappearing and that someone suspects it has to do with . . . vampires. My Thoughts:   I read Sarah M lynowski's Ten Things We Did (And Probably Shouldn't Have) in December of 2 011, and thoroughly enjoyed it! So when I saw Sarah came out wi th a short story via HarperTeen, and it was only 99 cents on ...
