Merry Christmas!!

Hello Everyone!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I hope you are all having a wonderful Holiday Season and got everything you asked for! :)

I did want to share with you guys some personal exciting news.  About two weeks ago, I was surprised with an email by KC Neal the author of Pyxis (which I reviewed a few months ago).  Before I go on to tell you what the email said, let me explain something first...KC had been hosting a giveaway for the past couple of months for readers to win a Brand New Kindle.  After 5764 entries (!!!!) (you can probably tell where I'm going with this haha)...here's the email I received from KC:

Hi Mandy!

You won the Kindle giveaway!! *confetti* :D

Yaaaaaayyyyyyyyy!!!!!

I honestly can't believe I got this lucky!!
And what made it even awesomer (I know that's not a word haha), well actually two things that made it more awesome (!!), first...I had asked for one for Christmas, and two: I GOT IT BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!

Here it is:
Isn't it beautiful???!!!

Anyway (sorry for bragging!! I'm just SOOOOO excited!!), the main reason why I'm writing :) is I just finished my first book on my Kindle (!!), and it's actually the one featured in the picture: Ten Things We Did (and Probably Shouldn't Have) by Sarah Mlynowski.

What a CUTE book!! This was such an easy, relaxing, and enjoyable book!

Description:
April gets a scary surprise when her father tells her that her step mom and her are moving her to Cleveland.  April refuses to go, and instead works something out with her friend so that she can move in with her without any parents!!
Now you may be thinking: How does she get to live in a house without any parents??
Well, how would anyone be able to pull that off?? LYING!! Of course!

April's definitely living the dream life of most teenage girls.
Her own place (well, pretty close anyway), one of her best friends, her boyfriend gets to sleep over, and if she felt like it she could be having a party every night!!

That is as long as she follows the rules, her dad left her...HUH! Who are we kidding??!!

If you're looking for a fun easy girly read, this book is perfect.  Super cute!

I hope you all have beautiful day today with your families and loved ones :).

  1. Wow, congrats! I am not a huge fan of e-readers as I prefer the real thing, but the other day I was lugging around a 600 page book to work (for my break) and was thinking it would be nice to have one. :)

  2. That's the exact reason why I wanted one! I'm one of those people that ALWAYS has a book in my purse! I can't even tell you how many zippers I've broken because of a 400 or 600 page book! It's ridiculous.

And I'm still love my paper books too, I'm reading one right now, and bringing my Kindle when I'm on the road :)
