All Lined Up (Rusk University #1) by Cora Carmack (ARC)

Hey Everyone!!

So I finished Cora Carmack's newest novel All Lined Up, the first book in her new series Rusk University, and I'm so darn excited to share with you my review!!

When I was given the opportunity to review this one a few months ago for the blog tour, I instantly jumped at the chance; which for some of you, if you've been reading up on my blog for a while now, know that I haven't been the best reader in the past months, therefore haven't really been accepting any review request/blog tour dates, only because my schedule has been so crazy busy, I just haven't had the chance to read as much as I've wanted!

Anyway, I did it! I read my first blog tour book in like almost a year, I think!! Therefore, it's time to give myself a pat on the back ;).

From Goodreads:

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Cora Carmack follows up her trio of hits—Losing It, Faking It, and Finding It—with this thrilling first novel in an explosive series bursting with the Texas flavor, edge, and steamy romance of Friday Night Lights.

In Texas, two things are cherished above all else—football and gossip. My life has always been ruled by both.

Dallas Cole loathes football. That's what happens when you spend your whole childhood coming in second to a sport. College is her time to step out of the bleachers, and put the playing field (and the players) in her past.

But life doesn't always go as planned. As if going to the same college as her football star ex wasn’t bad enough, her father, a Texas high school coaching phenom, has decided to make the jump to college ball… as the new head coach at Rusk University. Dallas finds herself in the shadows of her father and football all over again.

Carson McClain is determined to go from second-string quarterback to the starting line-up. He needs the scholarship and the future that football provides. But when a beautiful redhead literally falls into his life, his focus is more than tested. It's obliterated.

Dallas doesn't know Carson is on the team. Carson doesn't know that Dallas is his new coach's daughter.

And neither of them know how to walk away from the attraction they feel.

My Thoughts:

Wow, Wow, WOW Guys!  Cora Carmack has definitely done it again! I'm honestly pretty much obsessed with her books!  Her Losing It Series was one of my favorites last year, so of course I would jump at the chance to get to read her newest one!

The only thing I have to complain about is...CORA, DO I REALLY HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT FALL FOR THE NEXT ONE???!!!!

WHY??? Why would you do this to me??!!!

Anyway, if you haven't already been able to tell, I loved All Lined Up!  It had everything I look for in a book! A great escape from the real world, great characters, a great plot line/story, just all around a great New Adult book!

While I was starting to think I was over the New Adult genre for a while, I must say this one has brought me back into it!

I don't know what it is, but when football and a love story get put together, it just usually always ends up great! And I'm not even a football fan!! Maybe it's those sexy rugged football players that just do it for me ;).

Anyway, if you haven't already guessed...My overall rating for this one:

I think if you're a fan of New Adult, looking for a fun easy romantic read, then All Lined Up, is the book for you!  You'll find yourself falling for Dallas and Carson, and routing for them to get it on, ahem, I mean, fall in love of course ;).  Highly recommend it.  It's just the perfect feel good story, with life lessons, self-discovery, college life, shyness, love, etc. and so much more! That build up from Carson and Dallas becoming friends to finally giving the next step a try was just great!

All Lined Up is officially available now, so get your copy today!! It's available through Amazon and Barnes and Noble, as well as where ever else books are sold! :)

Have a great week everyone! :)

  1. So I guess I was not accepted for the blog tour, haha - maybe I signed up too late or something. Sounds like a great book, though! I did love her other books that you introduced me to :).
