Babe in Boyland by Jody Gehrman Review

Babe in Boyland caught my attention just by the story!  It's about Natalie and her quest to figure out the mystery of the boy's mind.

Natalie, aka Dr. Aphrodite, is the anonymous love Dr. at Mountain View High School for the school paper.  But she's been getting quite the wrath from her male readers...in fact, they can't stand her column, and believe that she doesn't understand anything about guys, and is only telling the girls what they want to hear, not the truth!

So what does she do??

Become the man of course!
Babe in Boyland

Natalie...or Nat, goes under cover at Underwood Academy...to find out the seven question that every girl wants to know about the inner working of the human male's mind...

Along the way, she happens to have a roommate who just happens to be one of the most gorgeous of the male specimen...Emilio...sigh...Mr. Six-Pack-with-a-heart-of-gold...like I said...sigh...

Anyhow, what happens when Natalie is supposed to figuring out all the answers, but at the same time falling for the guy...whom should be giving her all the answers??

Find out in this fun, loving, easy read Babe in Boyland!

My thoughts:

Overall, I thought Babe in Boyland was a cute easy read.  It reminded me of that movie with Amanda Bynes, She's the Man!  I love that movie!!! This book had just the right amount of changes to make its own story.
There were some super funny parts involving the male anatomy...plus a part where her friends and her went to Denny's in the middle of the night, which I just loved (I know random right?!) but it where my friends and I go during really late nights, such as Rocky Horror Picture Show nights :).

Overall rating:

So if you get a chance, definitely check out this fun, cute read!!

  3. I was going to say that as well - sounds almost exactly like She's the Man :P I wonder if the author saw that one?

  4. Yes, this book is so much fun! Like you said, pretty similar to She's The Man... but that was kind of perfect because I love that movie, and this was like book candy.
