Until Next Time Blog Tour Stop! Review :)

So today I am one of the hosts for Amy Lignor's first novel in the Angel Chronicles: Until Next Time.

I am so excited to be taking part in this tour, because let me tell you this...This Book Was SOOOO GOOD!!!

I finished it a couple of weeks ago, and truly just had a hard time putting it down!

Here's Until Next Time is about:

So while I don't think I could do this book justice by describing what it is about, without confusing all of you, here is the Goodreads description:
How does a girl choose between the one who steals her heart and the one who owns her soul?

Matt and Emily were created for a specific job. Raised and trained as the ultimate angel/warrior team, they are sent down to save, defend, judge and forgive, depending on the 'life' they've been assigned. What they don't realize is that the power of human emotions, such as love, anger, passion and fear can take over even the best of souls, causing them to make mistakes and follow paths that lead to confusion and heartache.

When the reason for their training is finally revealed, the angel/warrior team find themselves thrust into a world they know nothing about. Matt takes over the life of Daniel, a young man with a great deal of baggage. Emily becomes Liz, a girl living in a remote village who relies on nothing more than her own strength to survive. A violent storm erupts one night, and framed in the window of Liz's establishment is a frightening face. Let in by the soul of a Good Samaritan, the two visitors bring with them a past full of secrets that could literally change an angel's path and a warrior's plans.

From murder to redemption, this angel/warrior team must find a way to keep the faith they have in each other in a world that's ripping them apart.

My thoughts:

Wow!  I don't think I've ever read a story like Until Next Time!  I had no idea how I was going to feel when I started reading this book, but right now, all I am thinking about is how GLAD I am that I did!

I found it to be written really well.  And while I got a bit confused in the end a bit, (but after thinking about I think I figured it out) I thought it was really awesome how Amy wrote this book as if it was two stories rolled into one, yet in the end they fit really well together!

I really liked Liz's story!  She and Jason are meant to be!!  I also really enjoyed the angel humor throughout Emily's (Liz) scenes. The quotes that we use all the time, like "Sometimes you need to stop and smell the roses".  I really enjoyed that!

I definitely recommend this book to people who enjoy books about Angels, and who like stories with religion.  However, even if you don't usually like religious stories, I think you might still like it, because while I have high respect for religions, I just am not a big fan usually of reading about them.  Until Next Time was different though.  I was truly left on my toes throughout the entire story, because I just really wanted to know what was going to happen next.

However, I do have one complaint...the epilogue really confused me!! I couldn't figure out what it meant...but since this is book ONE, in the Angel Chronicles I am hoping all my questions will be answered in book 2! :)

Overall Rating:

Can't wait to read book 2!! :)
