Underworld...the world of Hot men? (ARC Review) :)

***WARNING!! May Contain spoiler from Abandon (the first book in the Trilogy)! Underworld is a sequel!!***

First off I NEED to begin this post with a HUGE HUGE HUGE thank you to Meg Cabot!!  Thank you SO much to her, for supporting Meg-A Readers Blog Hop! and for sending me last week that AMAZING box of signed books!!

I couldn't even imagine having ONE copy of an ARC of Underworld in my hand before it hit store shelves, but being able to hold TWO!!! WOW that was an amazing feeling!

Well anyway, a few days ago when I finished reading my last book, I knew I was supposed to be reading one of the books off my list.  And I did!...at least for about an hour...but you have understand...Underworld, with its gloriously beautiful cover was sitting there on my shelf, MOCKING me!  I swear!  It was just going, "Na, na, na, na, nah! You can't read me, because you have other books to read! Ha-Ha!".

Well, after having a book sitting there, and actually mocking me, you have to understand why I decided to put my Kindle down, and pick up that beautiful ARC copy of Underworld and just completely devour it over these past couple of days.

You just have to understand! There was no other option for me! That book had me under its wing!

Well anyway, I am VERY proud to say that I am (of what I like to think few...) first readers of Meg Cabot's Underworld.

And of course, like with every book that has the name Meg Cabot on the cover...I absolutely enjoyed this story!

So before I continue with what I thought about this book, here's what it's about...

Underworld takes off exactly where Abandon left off, with Pierce stuck living in the Underworld with John, her hot boyfriend, who also happens to be the Ruler of the Underworld...yes, you read that correct!

While John is trying to keep Pierce in the Underworld with him, where he can thoroughly protect her from the Furies (the evil spirits, who take over weak people's bodies, and are trying to hurt Pierce), Pierce is trying everything possible to get out of there!  She loves John, but just wants to see her family.

But when Pierce gets a weird video message showing her cousin, Alex, stuck in what appears to be a coffin, John has no choice but to bring her with him to the world above, to the small town of Isla Huesos (translated Island of Bones), to help protect Alex.

Will they make it?  Will Pierce decide to stay in the underworld with John?  Will the Furies ever go away and leave John, Pierce, and her family alone?
Find out when you pick up your copy of the sequel to the New Times Bestselling novel Abandon, Underworld, out in stores on Tuesday May 8th!

Now to my overall thoughts:

Like I said before, I have literally enjoyed ALL of Meg's books!  So in a way, I guess I may be a little biased when it comes to this review...but it truly is an interesting story!

Overall rating:

Now to make it a little fair...I guess...I will admit that John got a bit overprotective sometimes for my taste...but then again, wouldn't you want your boyfriend to protect you if a blood thirsty (not literally) Fury was after you???  I sure as heck would!!

And I have one other complaint...THE ENDING!!! Meg, I have one question for you...WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME??? You can't just leave me hanging like that!! You're killing me!!!!! I. Must. Know. What. Happens!

So I guess, you could say overall I enjoyed this novel ;).

I hope everyone has a great weekend, and a Happy Friday!

XOXO
