Music Tuesday #29
For this week's song I've chosen one of my all-time favorites! The reason I chose this one this week, is because I just one of my all-time favorite movies that I always seem to associate with this song!
She's All That with Freddie Prinze Jr. and Rachael Leigh Cook I found out last week is on Netflix, so I HAD to watch it right away of course! I used to own this movie, and it had taken me FOREVER to find it in stores, and then a friend borrowed and never ended up returning it, because he lost it, so I haven't had the chance to see it in a couple of years!
So for this week's song...
Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer!
Happy Tuesday everyone!

The Romance Bookie :)
Aww, this song is great! I haven't seen this film before. Thanks for posting :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower, your blog header is amazing! :)
You should totally watch the movie!! :)
DeleteAnd thanks!! Eileen over at Singing and Reading in the Rain (http://eileenlisblog.blogspot.com/) made it for me. Well I drew a sketch and she made into the computerized form for me! She's awesome!!! :)
Also good is the version by New Found Glory (Hayley from Paramore cameos in the video): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGRWxoJtQP0
ReplyDeleteAWESOME!! Love that version!! You know I think I have heard it before, but the music video made all the more better! :)
DeleteAnd Hayley looks so young!!! I wouldn't have recognized her if you hadn't said she was in that video!
I love pop and punk rock music, so I was super stoked to find New Found Glory covering one of my favourite movie's signature track (who doesn't love this movie!).
DeleteThe video is kind of old actually, from 2007 already (it's kind of scary thinking that that's half a decade ago. Does saying five years ago make it any better?)
lol, yes five years ago makes it sound better! Jeez time seriously flies!!
DeleteAnd yes, I like some punk rock pop stuff, and I've heard a few things by New Found Glory that I really liked. I have a friend who used to really like them! :)
Thanks for sharing!! I actually just listened to that version as I'm writing this comment! :)
Love it! AND look how young FPJ is ... so cute!

Freddie Prinze Jr. WAS SO HOT in that movie!! Same with "Head Over Heels" which is also one of my all time favorites! :)
DeleteI love this song. They play it at all the Laker Games during the "Kiss Cam".
ReplyDeleteOh yeah! I was just watching "How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days" with Kate Hudson and Matthew McConahey and I believe this song played during the kiss cam scene of the Knicks game they went for their first official date! :)
